Do you ever feel lonely in your calling? I know I have, plenty of times.
This morning, I was reading about Isaiah from a side note in my Bible. I knew he was considered the greatest Old Testament prophet but this sentence hit me like a freight train:
"Carried out a consistent ministry even though there was little positive response from his listeners." Wow. Can you imagine working so hard and not seeing fruitful evidence of that work?
Often times we look for signs to know we are doing the right things or on the right path. Isaiah certainly was but he had very little response from anyone to confirm that.
Friend, the only approval we need is God's. If you are doing what He has called you to do, no other likes or followers matter. Press on, keep going, your work matters.♥️
